I am passionate about color and I am always thinking up the next palette of complementary hues. I am constantly looking around at successful color combos in my everyday life, whether that be in a boldly printed blouse or a dreamy sunset.

Currently I am studying woodblock artists, but I don't have the patience for printmaking! Some of my favorite work comes from the following artistis: Henri Matisse, Barbara Grossman, and Lulie Wallace.

This is an original acrylic painting on 240 lb paper.

I began my art career at the tender age of five, when I drew my first mural of a large sun, a great big hill with tall trees and lots and lots of people on my parent's bedroom wall. At the time I couldn't understand their lack of enthusiasm, after all it was my father's freshly painted lavender walls that had inspired me!
