This digital artwork incorporates my love of surface design. The pattern is reminiscent of the large floral prints my grandmother used to make her dresses when I was a little girl. I distressed the pattern outlines to make it appear weathered. I love floral artwork where I can truly enjoy the flower without the work of weeding and watering! Thanks for looking.

I began my art career at the tender age of five, when I drew my first mural of a large sun, a great big hill with tall trees and lots and lots of people on my parent's bedroom wall. At the time I couldn't understand their lack of enthusiasm, after all it was my father's freshly painted lavender walls that had inspired me!
