Life circles digital painting. Having neither a beginning nor an end, the circle has long been a symbol across time and cultures - of eternity, wholeness, protection, and unity. It calls to mind things such as the full moon, the sun, the entrance or exit of a tunnel, the pupil of the eye, or a hug.

This circle painting has a bright lilac background filled with 9 layered circles in shades of pinks, reds, purples, and browns offering a sense of love, joy, and coexistence. Each circle stands on its own overlapping gives a feeling of unity. The circles are in rows of three horizontally and vertically. I started this artwork with nine circles perfectly measured in three rows of three, and then I began adding layers of circle rings to each dot using the same measurements but varying the colors. Much time is spent in each of my paintings to ensure color and placement are just right.

I began my art career at the tender age of five, when I drew my first mural of a large sun, a great big hill with tall trees and lots and lots of people on my parent's bedroom wall. At the time I couldn't understand their lack of enthusiasm, after all it was my father's freshly painted lavender walls that had inspired me!
